General:

  • Dear players, today a new cross-realm system was installed to all the servers.
    It took more than 2 years to develop it. Its work is based on the previous system, but totally new principles of cross-realm mode were taken which gives a lot of possibilities for future work of the server.
    So, what's new about the new cross-realm system?
    - The principle of transfer of the character to cross-realm server is changed, thus some problems like impossibility for some players to get to bg or arena are eliminated.
    - A possibility to create common cross-real raids (the system is still in the process of developing and will be tested as soon as we will be ready)
    - A possibility of creation of common cross-server duel zone.
    - A possibility to create server for cross-server events or events at the separate server in general.
    - A possibility to distribute a load at the realm to reduce ping and to increase online of the realm.
    But, some problems are unavoidable:
    - Since this system is new, crashes and decline of the realms' stability are possible (we will be fixing it as soon as possible)
    - The system was being tested for half a year at x115 realm and fun. There were some problems with disconnections and crashes but the work under the load is stabilized now.
    - This system is new and that's why there can be "narrow places" in the core, which can lead to increase of ping at the load realms, but we will try to fix it.
    - New bugs are possible which we don't know about but we are waiting for information about them at our bugtracker.

    Update 15:00:
    - Due to too big increase of ping, x125 realm is temporarily switched off from the new crossrealm. It will be switched on again after the problems with lags will be solved.

General:

  • After having tested new cross-realm, some critical problems have been noticed. At the moment, previous cross-realm version is installed. A new version will be installed for test again after fixes.

  • Small instance fixes are installed
  • Кровавая королева Лана'тель - now, blood wall appears upon pull (the battle will be held in the hall only as it's meant to be), correct enrage timer is installed, bite target select algorithm is rewritten.

  • Instance's script and major part of the bosses are partially rewritten for better optimization and avoiding the problems like: hanging combat, teleport of the players to the 1st floor, closed doors after defeating the bosses.

  • Faction champions - combat movements for healers and ranged fighters are rewritten, thus mobs no longer go behind the textures.
