Hello, dear players and guests of our project uwow.biz! Today, I will show you some secrets of World of Warcraft again, and precisely, hidden maps that have been created by Blizzard company for some reason but haven’t been included in game. But anyway, GM’s privileges make it possible to get there and developer’s skills make it possible to find them. That’s why you have wonderful opportunity to have a look at them with the eyes of…mine. =)
But let’s move from words to deeds and precisely to the first location. Let’s start from a small and simple zone, which is a part of Stonetalon Mountains and has something to do with the same location from Pandaria’s Azeroth. For example, in original location there are trees trees on this place and everything is OK, but in hidden location there is a huge crater . All in all, this place isn’t so interesting, but anyway it’s still «hidden» and a little bit unusual.
So, it’s high time to proceed to the main point of this issue and precisely to its demonic part in all the senses. The next location has quite unusual and occult name – «Warlocks Arena». It may be subdivided into four parts: corridor, main platform, boss’ platform or main battle zone and… strange as it may appear, Maw of Neltharion…but first things first. So-called «corridor» is a small area with portals to the capitals (which don’t work, btw) and a rune of teleportation to the next platform. In general it looks like this:
The main platform is much bigger and includes a lot of objects, which are: some kind of summoning platform, and demonic crystal which is next to it, caves, which are similar to those of Timeless Isle and which, in my opinion, are all the same, tents, which have something to do with those of Darkmoon Island, demonic tool and a door behind of which there is nothing, but beautiful bookshelves. All in all, this platform looks cozy and harmoniously:
The second platform, which is flooded with poison and where the demonic circle is painted, is connected with the previous with the help of a small bridge. Judging by the size of this platform it had to be the «main» arena between two warlocks and the first platform is a kind of staging area or a pit stop. The other variant – here should be a boss, for example «The greatest demon of all the time», but now there is only our old chap,Chuck Norris (hello to those who have read previous issues). All the logical and understandable points are over but there is also Maw of Neltharion with caves inside of it which are similar to those of Dragonblight. Its destination is unknown.
For the sake of variety I’ve decided to introduce not only WotLK – Pandaria secrets to you, but also hidden places of Draenor which also has a lot of interesting zones. For example, another non-finished battleground (the second bg which is found by me). It is called Heroes of Warcraft. I don’t know why, but firstly I thought that there is something connected with the movie (its animation part) here. But everything is much simpler…two fortresses, water, and a lot of fortifications…from a bird’s or rather gryphon’s eye view it looks like this:
Horde Base and Alliance Fortress look quite familiar for our eyes except for one or rather several details…perhaps, you have already noticed those blue ogres which stay…everywhere. Not only are they defenders of both sides, but also the main boss (it seems so) of the BG is also Ogre!!! Blizzard company is known for many easter eggs in its games and this map isn’t exception. For example, this famous sight got in the water near the alliance base somehow:
It’s unknown what Blizzard wanted to show by that but it’s quite…meaningful. Perhaps, because of this element BG failed to pass «face control», or maybe because of bugs I’m going to tell about. If you were attentive, you could notice two ships on the Alliance fortress…actually, these are not ships, or more precisely one of them is a ship but flying, and the other one is…a goblin’s house.
In the end of the article, I would like «to say hello” from Stormwind which is situated in of the instance of Draenor and where all the trees have been cut, rivers and channels have ran dry, and the port with ships that were standing there, have been dismantled and dispersed:
